Anna Mae Hasenour, 86

Anna Mae Hasenour, 86, of Bretzville, Indiana, passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.
Anna Mae was born on June 5, 1928 in Jasper, Indiana to William P. and Teresa (Birk) Mehringer. She married Jerome A. “Romie” Hasenour on September 11, 1951 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2013.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Sodality, and the St. Anthony Community Center. She enjoyed being with friends, gardening, and being with family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also sold vitamins and herbs.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Brames and her husband Jim and Marla McCain and her husband Tim, both of Bretzville; two sons, Stan Hasenour and his wife Cheryl and Mike Hasenour and wife Donna, both of Bretzville; one sister, Jeannie Stetter of Jasper; one brother, Ambrose Mehringer and his wife Mary Lee of Jasper; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death beside her husband was an infant daughter, Connie Hasenour, and three sisters, Lorena Englert, Armella Hochgesang, and Jenny Bockting.
Funeral services for Anna Mae Hasenour will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (January 14, 2015) at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, and one hour before services at church on Wednesday. The St. Anthony Christian Mothers will conduct a prayer service at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, the American Alzheimer’s Association, or the Parkinson Disease Foundation.
