Agnes A. Kreilein, 84, of Jasper

Agnes A. Kreilein, 84, Jasper, passed away at 8:52 p.m.on Friday, June 30, 2017, at her home in Jasper.
Agnes was born in Mariah Hill on March 28, 1933, to Anton and Mary (Jochim) Hufnagel. She married Alfred Kreilein on April 25, 1959, in Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Mariah Hill.
Agnes worked at General Electric for many years and then in Wal-Mart in Jasper for 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Surviving are her husband Alfred Kreilein of Jasper; one son, Alan Kreilein of Jasper; one daughter, Jacinta Willis of Evansville; two grandchildren, Trevor and Tyler Willis of Evansville; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sanae, and Berkley Willis of Evansville.
Preceding her in death are two brothers, Linus and Otto Hufnagel
Funeral services for Agnes A. Kreilein will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. St. Joseph’s Parish will pray a rosary at 12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.

Aggie was a beautiful, kind person. I grew up as a next door neighbor and she and Alf always treated me wonderfully. I just heard of her passing today and am sad I was unable to attend the services. My heart goes out to the family.
