Very low turnout. very disappointed in the people of Dubois County.
All things considered – mainly the panicdemic fear and control largely still in play for some still in total lockdown/shutdown mode – it’s fortunate the turnout was as good as it was in this early stage of re-emerging/re-opening. Couldn’t really expect much more turn-out this time – the general in Nov should be much better, maybe a record.
I wonder – did many of our Dubois people vote early and how many votes were mailed in? It would be nice to see the total number of voters!
The last line of the story tells how many people voted. Of those votes, 2,780 were cast election day; 1,765 were mail-in ballots; and 883 were walk-in absentee ballots.
