2016 Cornhole Tournament of Champions set to begin
101 Country WBDC announced the tour schedule for the 2016 Cornhole Tournament of Champions; double-elimination tournaments.
This year’s tournament will return to 11 sites and one new site, Ireland Bicentennial Celebration for a total of 12 official events. Teams consist of two players in a competition of Cornhole. There are two divisions; amateur and pro.
The Amateur division (single-elimination) is open to all ages and skill levels. Amateur winner will receive a non-monetary prize. Entry fee is $5.00.
The Pro division (double-elimination) is open to any players 18 years old or older. Team winners of site matches receive cash and trophies and will advance to Championship held as part of the Huntingburg Herbstfest. Pro division team entry fee is $10.00 per event if pre-registered or $15.00 on day of the event.
Proceeds raised by the event are given to the Needy Assistance Fund to help needy families around the holidays.
The 2016 WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions opens June 11th at the St. Henry Heinrichsdorf Fest; starting with registration at 1pm EST. and throwing at 2pm EST. The schedules with registration times are as follows:

Team winners of the tour sites are seated in the September championship and are able to enter again at one of the remaining sites. Points will be given to the pro teams; the two top point leaders will fill the open brackets in the championship following the Herbstfest Wildcard. Teams should bring family and friends to watch and enjoy friendly competition of Cornhole.
