Women empowerment group to hold first meeting of 2017

Women Empowering Women will hold its first gathering of 2017 on Wednesday, February 8 at the St. Joseph Church Parish Center, 1029 Kundek St., Jasper.

Women Empowering Women gives women in the business industry a place to network and gain mentors, as well as to discuss the challenges women face in various industries.

The event is open to any woman, and the cost is $5 for lunch, payable at the door. Reservations can be made by calling the Jasper Chamber of Commerce at 482-6866 or emailing chamber@jasperin.org. Reservations are due by Wednesday, Feb. 1.
