Women Empowering Women Nov. 18 event ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges’
The Dubois County women’s leadership organization, Women Empowering Women (WEW), is pleased to welcome Dr. Sue Ellspermann and Brenda Stallings as its featured speakers in this fireside chat setting.
The November 18, 2025, session will be held at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Jasper (333 River Centre Landing Jasper, IN). Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for networking before the meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. EST.
This event is open to all prospective and current WEW members.
Brenda Stallings, retired CEO of Matrix Integration, is a pioneering force in Indiana’s tech landscape. Over her 40-year career, she transformed a small computer company into one of the state’s top woman-owned technology firms. Under her leadership, Matrix Integration earned national recognition for innovation, workplace culture, and community impact. Her journey—from typesetter to tech executive—reflects resilience and vision. Brenda has mentored future leaders, championed women in STEM, and served on boards shaping regional economic growth.
Dr. Sue Ellspermann has broken barriers throughout her career—from serving as Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor and leading Ivy Tech Community College, to pioneering roles in engineering, academia, and entrepreneurship.She continues building bridges across sectors through board service with organizations like OneAmerica Financial, German American Bank, and the Applied Research Institute. Now based in Ferdinand, Sue and her husband enjoy time with their large blended family while championing initiatives that strengthen communities and connect people across Indiana.

The mission of Women Empowering Women is to inspire women in business to reach their highest potential by instilling confidence, building networks, and promoting community in Dubois County.
Membership is open to any woman in business who lives or works in Dubois County.
