Wilma L. Tevault, 85

Wilma L. Tevault, 85, of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 3:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

She was born April 9, 1929 in Augusta, Indiana, to Lewis and Maude (Hardin) McClure. She married Ivan Tevault on April 22, 1950 in Pike County, Indiana.

The couple resided in Orleans, Indiana, from 1965-1985, where Wilma worked for the Orleans Community Schools and the Orange County Hospital in Paoli where she retired. In 1985 Wilma and Ivan moved to Huntingburg and then in 1999 they moved to Jasper. Wilma was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed flower gardening and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Tevault, who passed away August 24, 2012; one daughter who died in infancy, Lana Faye Tevault; five brothers, Kenny McClure, Glenn McClure, Howard McClure, Oral “Bud” McClure and Clyde “Dick” McClure; and four sisters, Lorraine McAllister, Eloise Wallace, Irene McClure and Norma Hagemeyer.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin (Beverly) Tevault of Bloomington; one daughter, Susan E. Dowdell of Jasper; two grandchildren, Amy (Daniel Polonsky) Tevault of Harbert, Mich. and Kyle (Renee) Tevault of Royal Oak, Mich.; two great grandchildren, Joshua and Allison Tevault.

Funeral services for Wilma L. Tevault will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta, Indiana (Rural Route 2, Winslow).  Pastor Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.
