William F. Kerkhoff, 83, Ferdinand

William F. Kerkhoff, 83, of Ferdinand, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. 

William was born August 2, 1943, to William and Agnes (Oser) Kerkhoff.

He was united in marriage to Brenda Satkamp on July 11, 1964, at Salem United Church of Christ. 

William served in the Army from 1964 to 1966 in Germany. Throughout his life, he worked at Hank’s Sign Shop for 30 years. In his free time, William was very artistic and enjoyed painting, and also enjoyed working on lawn mowers. 

He is survived by his wife, Brenda and two daughters, Kristy Hooper of Mariah Hill and Tammy Birk of Birdseye; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for William will be held at a later time.
