William F. “Bo” Spangler, 89

William F. “Bo” Spangler, age 89, passed away at 6:17 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Brookside Village in Jasper.
He was born at Middleboro, Kentucky September 24, 1922 to James Robert and Luisa (Whitsell) Spangler. He married Billie Jean Horton August 21, 1947, she preceded him in death on September 28, 2008.
William Spangler was a WWII Army Veteran serving over seas in Germany.
He retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Trenton, Michigan after 23 years as an engine assembler. He previously worked for Elliott’s Appliance Store in Monroe, Michigan where he worked for 20 years as a service technician.
He is a member of First Baptist Church in Jasper.
His hobbies was watching University of Michigan Football and the Indianapo9lis Colts, Jaspere Highschool football and loving his pet dog, Rambeau.

Sister-in-law, Evelyn Allen, Monroe, Michigan
Nieces, Lynn Frye and Anne Humberger.
Preceding him in death besides his wife is one sister, Dorothy Smith.
Funeral services for William Spangler will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday (May 31, 2012) First Baptist Church in Jasper. The Rev. Jason Harris officiating. V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper will conduct military grave side rites.
Friends may call at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. service time.
Interment will be later in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Monroe Michigan.
