William D. Beltz, 58, Loogootee
William D. Beltz, 58, of Loogootee, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born in Decatur, Indiana, on May 10, 1963, to David Allen and Mary Diane (Rousseau) Beltz.
William was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 120 in Loogootee, the Veteran of Foreign War Post 673 in Jasper and the Jasper Moose Lodge 1175. He enjoyed being a truck driver as well as watching NASCAR, old-time movies, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jule Beltz; his stepchildren, Whitney Pendleton, Nicole Pendleton, and Justin Randolph and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Brecken and Kaden; his siblings, Michelle Boese, Noelle Teal, Phillippe A. Fleming, Joseph Fleming, Thomas Beltz, Brandon Beltz, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His parents, his siblings, Dawnelle Kuhnen, and Kimberly Moystner, preceded him in death.
A graveside service and military honors will be held at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery with the Very Reverend J. Kenneth Walker to officiate at a later date.
The Blake Funeral Home, in Loogootee, is in charge of the arrangements.
