Willa E. Kieffner, 96, Haysville

Willa E. Kieffner, 96, Haysville, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, at The Timbers of Jasper in Jasper.

She was born Feb. 4, 1920, to Henry and Ada (Drexler) Hoffman. She married Lenis H. Kieffner on Nov. 25, 1941, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Haysville. He preceded her in death Nov. 18, 2008.

Mrs. Kieffner was a housekeeper and did in-state and out-of-state domestic work during her youth. She was a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Haysville. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening, small animals, friends, neighbors and relatives.

Surviving are a son, Gene H. Kieffner of Haysville; a son-in-law, Fred Harder of Jasper; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Harder; a son, Duane Kieffner; and a brother, Harold Hoffman.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Haysville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
