Will Koch and family will be honored for contribution to park
A new addition given to Historic Santa Claus Campground in honor of late Will Koch.

Lori Koch and children Lauren, Leah and William will be honored at the Historic Santa Claus Campground in Santa Claus Indiana on November 10 at 3 p.m. CST for their generous donation of the Playground Boulders given in memory of their beloved father and husband, Will Koch.

Will Koch, Past President of Holiday World and Splashin Safari, and devoted supporter of the Historic Santa Claus Campground where his three children attended church camp, will be memorialized in a ceremony of dedication of “The Rock”. Speakers for the event include Pastor Jim Davidson of the Santa Claus United Methodist Church, Lori Koch, Will’s wife and donor of “The Rock”, Sally Schaaf, 17-year veteran director of children’s church camps, Chris Poehlein, representative of the Evansville District of the Walk to Emmaus, and Daryl Lovell whose family has been connected to the campground for generations.

Light refreshments will be served after the event and attendees will be encouraged to tour the over 150-year-old campground.
