Wilhelmine Wallesch, age 94 of Jasper passed away at 7:37 a.m., Sunday (June 10, 2012) at her home.

Wilhelmine was born in Schutzendorf (East Prussia) Germany on December 25, 1917 to August and Charlotte Gunia. She married Ernst Wallesch on June 9, 1943 in Schutzendorf Germany. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1995.

Wilhelmine was a homemaker. She enjoyed her pet cats, flowers, and feeding birds during the last seven years at the home of Joe and Sissi Alles in Jasper.

Preceding Wilhelmine in death besides her husband is one son, Bernd Wallesch, one brother, Otto Gunia, and two sisters, Marie Gunia and Emma Dahlke.

Funeral services for Wilhelmine Wallesch will be held at Noon Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at Becher Kluesner Northside Chapel, with burial to follow in the Enlow Jasper City Cemetery. Pastor Charla Grieves will officiate.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the Noon service time Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dubois County Relay for Life or a favorite charity.
