Wilford J. Land, 85

Wilford J. Land, age 85, of Holland, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his home.

He was born December 14, 1927 in Holland, Indiana to William and Matilda (Sickbert) Land. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Mae Balsmeyer on June 4, 1950. Wilford was a lifelong farmer and member of the Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland. He was preceded in death by: one infant sister; and one infant granddaughter.

Funeral services for Wilford J. Land will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland with burial to follow at Augustana Cemetery in Holland. Pastor Debbie Roe will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday; and also at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the funeral. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.nassandson.com.
