Water main replacement to impact Third Ave/Meridian Road

The City of Jasper will be replacing a water main in the Third Avenue and Meridian Road area.

Work will begin on Monday, January 31, 2022 and is set to last about two months. The area impacted by this project is Third Avenue east from Meridian Road to Gun Club Road and South Meridian Road from Third Avenue and going about 500 feet south.

This work will require lane closures, traffic pattern movements and intermittent street closures at times to facilitate the work.

The City of Jasper reminds motorist to use caution and slowdown in construction zones.
