Water main break affecting East 34th Street, Villa Drive, and 36th Street (repaired)

Jasper–The Jasper Municipal Water Department is currently working on a water main break at the corner of East 34th Street and Villa Drive. This will affect 26 water customers in this immediate area, including East 34th Street up to East 36th Street. Water will be shut off while repairs are being made. The anticipated time to restore service depends on the severity of the main break, which could take several hours to repair.

Once the water service is restored, a Boil Water Order will be in effect. The Boil Water Order will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing. Another notification will be made once the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
