Wanda Ruth Lawrence, age 65, of Winslow, Indiana, formerly of Birdseye, passed away at 3:50 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
She was born March 29, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana to Charles Herman and Marjorie Ruth (Penner) Wright. Wanda was married to James E. Lawrence on November 10, 1962 in Birdseye, Indiana. She was employed by Mercer Transportation and worked alongside her husband. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, James and Joseph Wright.

Funeral services for Wanda Ruth Lawrence will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. The Rev. Albert Madden will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Thursday, the day of the funeral.
