Wanda (Osborne) Howard, 85, Tennyson

Wanda [Osborne] Howard, 85, of Tennyson, entered into her eternal home on September 6, 2021, from Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Wanda was born April 8, 1936, in Selvin at the home of her parents Benton and Mary (Bailey) Osborne.

She married Alva R. Howard on September 5, 1954, at Johnson Chapel General Baptist Church in Selvin.

He preceded her in death on July 16th, 1990.

Wanda attended Bethabara General Baptist Church, Folsomville, and she was an active member of the Ladies Missionary Society. She had also served as the president of the Young at Hearts Club.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, loved dearly by her family.

Wanda is survived by her five children, Robert B. “Bob” Howard [Daisy] of Boonville, Wanda Kay Hagman [Jerry] of Huntingburg, Susan Ball of Ferdinand, Nancy Wright of Tennyson, and Keith Howard [Meshona] of Evansville; 11 grandchildren, Robert B. [Bobby] Howard Jr. [Penny], Scott W. Howard [Cassandra], Michelle S. Roach [Benjamin], Dustin Hagman [JiII] Brittany Scraper [Travis], Shannon Fulkenburg [Michael], Jordan Wright [Krishia], Ginny Wildt [Clay], Joni Beard [Ryan], Drew Howard, Myles Howard; 18 great-grandchildren, Brianna & Elijah Howard, Matthew, Cameron, & Easton Howard, Nora & Ezra Roach, Ethan, Jacob, Mason, & Everett Hagman, Addie, Bentley, Wesley, and Elliot Scraper, Gabriella, Daniel & David Wright; brother, James D [Jim] Osborne of Camby; nieces and nephews as well as her beloved friends and Facebook friends.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are her sisters, lona Ruth Osborne, Margaret Opel Foster, Linda Faye Mehringer, and Ina Mae Scalf; her brothers, Virgil Osborne, and Floyd Osborne

.Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, September 13th, 2021 at BRADLEY’S COLONIAL CHAPEL, 1005 E. Main St. Boonville. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment Selvin Cemetery in Selvin.
