Wanda Lee, 86, Petersburg

Wanda Lee, 86, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Golden Living Center in Petersburg, Indiana

She was born January 5, 1935, in Velpen to Travis and Pernenia (Jones) Cato. 

Wanda married James R. Lee on August 13, 1955, in Pike County. 

She had worked at Pike Central High School as a cafeteria cook. In her younger years, Wanda enjoyed camping and traveling. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, who died December 14, 2002; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by three children, Rhonda (Greg) Stidd of Petersburg, Pamela Lee (her significant other, Jerry) of Santa Claus, and Timothy Lee (his significant other, Lyona) of Oakland City; three sisters, Imogene Krohn of Coe, Sharon (Tony) Hayes of Velpen, and Karen (Steve) Haase of Otwell; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen. 

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
