Wanda L. Letterman, 79, Haysville

Wanda L. Letterman, 79, of Haysville, passed away at 12:12 a.m. Saturday, January 23. 2016, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born at Dubois, Indiana on July 12, 1936, to Rosaline Baer. She married Stanley Letterman on January 28, 1958, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.
Wanda was a graduate of Dubois High School and had worked at the Jasper Glove Company in Jasper for many years. Wanda was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and WELCA of St. Paul’s Church.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Letterman; two sons, Michael Letterman of Jasper and Robert Letterman of Loogootee; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Pieper and husband Ben of Dubois and Sue Striegel of Dubois; one brother, Terry Baer of Dubois.
Preceding her in death is one son Stanley Letterman Jr., and one brother Philmore Baer Jr.
Funeral services for Wanda L. Letterman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Charla Grieves will officiate.
Friends may call from Noon to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
