Wanda J. Greer, 80

Wanda J. Greer, age 80, of Jasper, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away at 5:25 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014, at The Timbers of Jasper nursing center in Jasper.

She was born December 6, 1933 in Kokomo, Indiana, to Bruce and Myrtle Louise (Graham) Allison.

She was united in marriage to Harry Greer on June 12, 1976 in Kokomo, Indiana.

She worked at the Kroger Grocery Store in Kokomo for 32 years. In 1997 Wanda and Harry moved to Jasper, Indiana, where they retired.

Wanda was preceded in death by: her mother and father; and two brothers, George Allison and Richard Allison.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Greer of Jasper; five daughters, Audrey Burge Allen of Jasper, Avery Burge Selzer of Kokomo, Cathy Burge Wheadon of Jasper, Kim Burge Satterfield of Kokomo, and Stacy Burge Fickes of Kokomo; one son,
Bruce Burge of Galveston, Ind.; four sisters, Debbie McNabb of Huntingburg, Janet Allison of Huntingburg, Theresa Foley of Kokomo, and Margie Henthorn of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wanda J. Greer will be held at 1:00 p.m., EST, on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Brother Jason Denton will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., EST, on Saturday, the day of the funeral. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.nassandson.com.
