Walter U. Linne, age 65 of Dubois, Indiana passed away on Sunday (April 22, 2012) in Posey County, Indiana of natural causes.

He was born at Dubois, Indiana on April 5, 1947.to Walter P. and Mary Margaret (Seng) Linne. He married Joyce Butler on May 8, 1971 in St. Celestine Catholic Church.

Walter Linne worked for Nancy Baer Trucking in Jasper for the past several years and previously worked for Kimball International as a over-the-road driver.

He was a graduate of Dubois High School Class of 1965, U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and a member V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper.

Preceding him in death is one sister, Mary Beth Fawks also one nephew Joshua Martin.

Funeral services for Walter Linne will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (April 28, 2012) in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois with burial to follow at a later date. V.F.W. Post # 673 will conduct military grave side rites.
