Walter Eugene “Beanie” Leibering, 88
Walter Eugene “Beanie” Leibering, age 88, of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:20 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his residence in Huntingburg.
He was born July 17, 1923 in Dale, Indiana to Walter and Geneva Leibering. He married Alberta Meyer on May 23, 1942. Mr. Leibering was retired from Dubois Wood Products. He had been an avid bowler, camper, little league coach and fisherman. He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Truman and Robert Leibering; and one sister, Katherine Blankenship.

by nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services for Walter Eugene “Beanie” Leibering will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday. The family wishes to thank the Angels of Mercy Hospice for the care given in his final week.
