Vote today for who you want to receive a $10,000 grant
12 local non-profits received $1,000 each of the past 12 days; today, the public can vote for which of the 12 will receive an additional $10,000 though the Dubois County Community Foundation’s 12 Days of Giving grant program
For the past 12 days, the foundation announced a grant award to a different organization at 4 p.m. As of today, 20 local nonprofits have received the $1,000.

• Strings, Inc.

• Celestine Volunteer Fire Dept.
• Girls On The Run
• VFW Dubois Co. — Post 673
• Young Life
• ROJAC
• JETT
• The Parklands
• Backpack Buddies of Dubois Co.
• Celebrate Recovery Group
• Memorial Hospital HOPE Garden
Each organization that received a $1,000 grant is now eligible for the final $10,000 grant, which will be awarded today.
Members of the public are encouraged to vote on the $10,000 grant recipient through the foundation’s post on their Facebook page by commenting on today’s post about the award. Only on vote per person is allowed; to vote write in your chosen recipient in the comments. Voting will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The grants are unrestricted, which means recipients can use the money for anything pertaining to their mission. Unrestricted grants are rare in the charitable world, as money usually comes with stipulations about what it can or can’t be used for.
