Visit Dubois County announces Spanish Edition of the 2025 Visitors Guide/Visit Dubois County Anuncia la Edición en Español de la Guía para Visitantes 2025
Visit Dubois County is proud to announce the release of the first-ever Spanish version of the Dubois County Visitors Guide. This milestone publication represents a significant step toward inclusivity and accessibility in local tourism and community engagement.
Created through a collaborative partnership, Visit Dubois County worked alongside Rossina Sandoval Monsivais, Director of ALASI, (Association of Latin Americans in Southern Indiana), to translate the original English edition to Spanish, offering Spanish-speaking residents and visitors the opportunity to explore Dubois County with ease and confidence. From cultural attractions and outdoor adventures to dining, lodging, and signature events, the guide provides a welcoming and informative resource that reflects the growing diversity of the region.
“We’re excited to offer this important resource in Spanish for the first time,” said Whitney Lubbers, Executive Director of Visit Dubois County. “Dubois County continues to grow as a diverse and vibrant destination, and we want everyone to have access to the same helpful information—whether they’re visiting, relocating, or simply exploring more of what’s in their own backyard.”
The Spanish version of the Dubois County Visitors Guide is now available. Free copies can be picked up at the Dubois County Visitors Center in Jasper and the ALASI office in Huntingburg. A digital version is also available on the Visitors Center website.

JASPER, Indiana — Visit Dubois County se enorgullece en anunciar el lanzamiento de la primera edición en español de la Guía para Visitantes del Condado de Dubois. Esta publicación histórica representa un paso significativo hacia la inclusión y la accesibilidad en el turismo local y la participación comunitaria.
Creada mediante una colaboración conjunta, Visit Dubois County trabajó junto a Rossina Sandoval Monsivais, directora de ALASI (Asociación de Latinoamericanos del Sur de Indiana), para traducir la edición original en inglés al español, brindando a los residentes y visitantes hispanohablantes la oportunidad de explorar el Condado de Dubois con facilidad y confianza. Desde atracciones culturales y aventuras al aire libre hasta opciones gastronómicas, alojamiento y eventos característicos, la guía ofrece un recurso acogedor e informativo que refleja la creciente diversidad de la región.
