Virlee I. Schuch, 76

Virlee I. Schuch, 76, of Jasper, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at her home.

Virlee was born on April 15, 1939 in Ferdinand , Indiana to Victor and Ida (Auffart) Begle. She had two marriages. Her first marriage was to John Scherle on November 21, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1966. Her second marriage was to Gaylord Schuch on October 30, 1970. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1999.

Virlee worked as a cook for Jasper Middle School for many years.

She was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper and the Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of the Jasper Circle of the Daughters of Isabella.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by four daughters, Cindy Kloeck and her husband Ray of Ferdinand, Angie Edwards and her husband Woldon of Loogootee, Becky Keller of Jasper and Kim Jochem and her husband Greg of St. Henry; one son, Mike Scherle and his wife Gina of Jasper; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara Gogel and her husband Dennis of St. Henry; two brothers, Gene Begle of Jasper and Victor Jr. Begle and his wife Linda of St. Henry.

Preceding her in death beside her two husbands was an infant daughter Mary; and one sister Edna Begle.

Funeral Services for Virlee I. Schuch will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, IN.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN. The Precious Blood Ladies Sodality and Jasper D of I will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m.
