Virginia Viola (Hagemeyer) Simpson, 87
Virginia Viola (Hagemeyer) Simpson, age 87, of Dale, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 2:05 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the CORE Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dale.
She was born August 9, 1924 in Wabash County, Illinois to Charles H. and Neoma R. (Coomer) Sowder. Virginia was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold Charles William Hagemeyer, who died in 1987; one son, John Tisdale; one daughter, Judith Blessinger; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by:

Funeral services for Virginia (Hagemeyer) Simpson will be held at 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Stendal. Pastor Paul Newland will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Friday, the day of the funeral.
