Virginia L. Patton, 72

Virginia L. Patton, age 72, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 11:51 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born February 29, 1940 in Hawesville, Kentucky to Fremon and Doreen (Holmes) Kline.

Virginia formerly worked at Jasper Engines & Transmissions. She enjoyed playing all types of games, especially Skip-Bo at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Lee Patton, who died November 21, 2006; one son, Thomas Leon Patton; one daughter, Pamela Jean Wollenmann; one half sister, Rita Cotterill; three step sisters – Winona Stark, Amy Jo Dotterweich and Margaret Perrot; and three step brothers – Raymond, Robert and Leo Kline.

She is survived by:

One daughter and son-in-law,

Rose Ann (Carlos) Adams – Taswell, IN

One step daughter,

Sheila Richards – Washington, IN

Three step siblings,

James Kline, Edna Smith and Rose Mary Harper

Five half siblings,

Joe Beavin, Earl Kline, Gerald Kline, Pauline Robinson and Dolores Sergesketter

by (6) grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Virginia L. Patton will be held at 3:00 p.m., (E.S.T.), on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, Indiana. Pastor Justin Childers will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., on Monday, the day of the funeral.
