Virginia F. Boehm, 83
Virginia F. Boehm, age 83 of Ireland passed away at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday (August 23, 2011) in Brookside Village in Jasper.
She was born at Dale, Indiana on May 28, 1928 to Paul and Scholastica (Bredhold) Seifert. She married Sylvester V. Boehm on May 8, 1948 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale, Indiana, he preceded her in death on October 5, 2002.
Virginia Boehm along with her late husband operated the Boehm’s Ireland Mark-Rite in Ireland for 31 years.
She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland and the St. Ann Society.
She was an avid card player and enjoyed quilting.

- Herb Boehm and spouse Elaine, Roselle, IL
- Charlie Boehm and friend Carolyn Hendricks, Ireland, IN
- Earl Boehm and spouse Linda and
- Fred Boehm both of Jasper, IN
11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
One brother, Erwin Seifert and spouse Florence, Jasper, IN
Preceding her in death besides her husband is one son, Danny Boehm. Two sisters, Dorothy Boehm and Cordella Seifert and two brothers, Bill and Ralph Seifert.
Funeral services for Virginia Boehm will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday (August 27, 2011) in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Friday (August 26, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
