Virginia E. Ringeman, 85

Virginia E. Ringeman, 85 of St. Meinrad died Tuesday November 13, 2012 at her home in St. Meinrad.
She was born April 2, 1927 in St. Meinrad to Martin & Mathilda (Lehr) Jent. She married Othmar Ringeman on July 2, 1949 in St. Meinrad Archabbey Church.
She was a homemaker, a member of St. Meinrad Parish and its Ladies Sodality. She was a former member of the parish choir. A member and past president of St. Meinrad Legion Post 366 Auxillary. She was an avid quilter and loved to crochet.
Surviving are her husband, Othmar Ringeman
Three sons,
- Ken (Debbie) Ringeman of Kernersville, N.C.
- Steve (Debbie) Ringeman of Evansville
- Mike (Jennifer) Ringeman of Evansville
Two daughters,
- Mrs. Al (Becky) Polster of Evanston
- Mrs. Ed (Donna) Balbach of Mariah Hill
Two sisters,
- Nellie Holtzman of Ferdinand
- Adeline Rhea of Carmel,
Eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. In. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Erwin “Buddy” Jent, and Ralph Jent.
Funeral services 10:00 AM CST Friday in St. Meinrad Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand, and Friday after 9:00 AM CST at the church.
