Virginia Ann Wehr, age 76, of St. Henry, Indiana, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2012 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born December 16, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Helen (Schipp) Mangel (Editors: father’s name is not listed). Virginia was united in marriage to Joseph William Wehr on June 11, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. She retired from Holland National Bank where she worked for 24 years; she attended the St. Henry Catholic Church for the past 22 years and prior to that was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg for 54 years; she was a member of the Christian Mothers; and she enjoyed crafting, sewing, painting and spending time with her family. Virginia was preceded in death by: her mother.

Funeral services for Virginia Ann Wehr will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, September 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday. A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday evening, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to: The Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.
