Violet Kunkler, 98, Ferdinand

Violet Kunkler, 98, of Ferdinand, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at home.

Violet was born August 10, 1920, in Dale to John and Rose (Jent) Hubers. She married Urban Kunkler on January 10, 1939, in Kentland, Ind. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1995.

Violet was retired from General Electric.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Larry) Bender of Ferdinand; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Violet was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Victor “Short”, Jerome and Father Raymond Hubers.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. CT at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Siberia with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. CT and Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. CT at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
