Vincent F. Hasenour, 83
Vincent F. Hasenour, age 83 of St. Anthony, passed away at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday (March 14, 2012) at his home.
He was born on December 9, 1928 at St Anthony, Indiana to Anthony A. and Antoinette (Hochgesang) Hasenour. He married Marita Merkel on April 19, 1958 at Celestine, Indiana.
Vincent was a Korean War Army Veteran, was a custodian at St. Anthony Catholic Church and at the St. Anthony School for many years, and also operated a tinner’s shop with his brothers for many years.
Vincent was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, St. Anthony Community Center, St Anthony American Legion Post #493, V.F.W. Post #693, and the St. Anthony Senior Citizens Club.
His hobbies included playing cards, gardening, and spending time with his family and dog.

Preceding him in death is one sister, Marquerite Hoffman, and three brothers, Anthony, Justin, and Maurice Hasenour.
Funeral services for Vincent Hasenour will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 17, 2012) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #493 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday (March 16, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
