Victor “Vic” Bohnenkamper, 75
Victor “Vic” Bohnenkamper, age 75, passed away at 12:04 a.m. on Tuesday (March 12, 2013) at Health South Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Victor was born on June 28, 1937 in Huntingburg, In to Victor Sr. and Dorothy (Medcalf) Bohnenkamper. He married Patricia A. Heim on May 12, 1962 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.
He worked as a general manager for Holiday Liquors, as a delivery driver for Vonnegut Industries, as a Medical Transport driver, and retired from Toys Auto Parts.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, the American Legion Post #147, the Ireland Knights of Columbus, the Ireland Sportsman Club, and the Ireland Historical Society.
He enjoyed bowling and horse shoe pitching. He coached minor league baseball at Ireland in his earlier years and loved attending grandchildren’s sporting, academic, and band events.

Preceding him in death is one son, David Bohnenkamper, and one sister Joyce L. Knust.
Funeral services for Victor Bohnenkamper will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 16, 2013) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00p.m. on Friday (March 15, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
