VFW Post 2633 Auxiliary Meets

The Auxiliary to Post 2366 monthly meeting was held Sept. 12th at the Post Home. President Laurie Spurlock opened the meeting. A report on the Labor Day Picnic was given by Treasurer Patty Leibering. President Laurie reported sending a care package to Zack Gogel, US Army, who is stationed in Japan. Discussion on the Flag Ettiquette Program to be held Nov. 12th at 1:00pm. Chaplain Buening reported on the Get Well and Sympathy cards sent out.

Dept. of Indiana State President reported that a bus trip to the National Home on Sept. 25th is full. Dept. State President Marie also reported on the National Convention in San Antonio, TX. POW/MIA Chairman reported that a Memorial Service will be held in South Bend on the 25th of Sept.

Oct. 1st is the date for the Auxiliary POW/MIA Memorial Service at the Post home at 7pm. That same day the Post is having Steak Dinners and Starbound Band entertaining for a Dance starting at 8pm. Dinners will be served prior to the Memorial Service.

The next District Meeting will be in Booneville on Sept. 18th 11:30pm. The next Post Auxiliary meeting is Oct. 10th at the Post Home.
