Veteran’s Discount program launching

The Dubois County Recorder’s office is starting a new program called the Honor Rewards.

Local businesses will communicate with the recorder that they will provide veteran discounts/support. A veteran can sign up to get a card to present to the local businesses. The rewards are only promised/guaranteed for the county the veteran applies to; however, it’s been stated that most businesses in other counties/states will honor the cards that aren’t local. A veteran will need to provide a DD214. The recorder stated that they have access to other county recorder offices so if the veteran has their DD214 in another county, our local office can find it.
