Versteel honored at NeoCon

Jasper-based manufacturer Versteel was honored with two awards for its newly-launched products, Sky and Thea, during last week’s NeoCon 2019.

NeoCon is the commercial design industry’s largest event of the year drawing more than 50,000 attendees across the globe to the MART in Chicago.

Versteel’s Sky table was awarded Best of NeoCon 2019 for Editors’ Choice presented by Contract magazine in the Tables: Height-Adjustable/Training/Work category. In addition, Versteel received a #MetropolisLikes Award for its Thea table in collaboration with internationally recognized designer, Roberto Lucci.

Sky adjustable height tables, available in a wide array of base styles and top finishes, allow for easy transition with the touch of a single paddle. With a patented pneumatic assist capability, Sky offers unmatched flexibility, allowing the table to be easily adjusted to the user’s desired height, tilted, relocated and nested—transforming it into a stand-up work surface, a white board, a privacy screen or a lectern. Ideal for workplaces and educational environments, Sky tables support human-centric design and wellness in the spaces where we work, learn and collaborate.

Thea, a new table designed exclusively for Versteel by Roberto Lucci, has an artistic sensibility built to fuel meetings and study sessions with integrated power. Each of the four minimalistic, elliptical legs envelopes a circular cap with two USB ports. A tubular understructure matches the diameter of the USB face and also provides added strength as well as a wire management solution. Thea may be specified in round, square or rectangle in varying sizes, and the top is available in laminate, veneer or Corian. The statement-making metal leg may be specified in one of Versteel’s many powder coat or plating options.
