Veronica L. Johnson, age 59, passed away at 4:24 a.m. Monday (February 18, 2013) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper after a long struggle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born at Leonardtown, Maryland to Benjamin and Veronica (Combs) Johnson. Married Jim Shawver December 3, 2002 at Shoals, Indiana.

Her enjoyment was scrapbooking, Motorcycles and collecting Beanie Babies.

She was a member of Abate of Indiana for twenty years and former Region # 10 secretary .

Funeral services for Veronica Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (February 22, 2013) the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Friday until service time at the funeral home.
