Velma “Val” D. Fehribach, 83

Velma “Val” D. Fehribach, age 83 of Jasper, passed away at 6:40 a.m., Thursday (September 27, 2012) at Professional Care Rehabilitation Center in Dale, IN.
Val was born on July 26, 1929 in Vancouver, Canada to John L. and Evelyn (Fletcher) Rankin. Her first marriage was to Thomas A. Rasche on October 4, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1971. Her second marriage was to Dennis A. Fehribach on November 6, 1978. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1990.
She was employed at the Jasper Corporation for over 30 years. She also worked at Buehler’s Flowers in Jasper.
She was a member of Precious Blood Church in Jasper.
In recent years, she enjoyed knitting hats for the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center and participating in the senior Olympics.

- Wayne Fehribach, Huntingburg, IN

One sister, Mrs. Alex (Maureen) McNeil, Vancouver, Canada
Preceding Val in death besides her husbands, is one son-in-law, Erwin Traylor.
Funeral services for Velma “Val” D. Fehribach will be held at 11:00 a.m. (Saturday September 29, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper
