Knies Construction will be closing 12th Avenue at Kimball Boulevard for a water line tap Monday, August 14, beginning at 7:00 a.m. This project should be completed by the end of the day on Monday barring inclement weather or any other unforeseen events.

Beginning on Tuesday, August 15, Knies Construction will implement a lane restriction in the eastbound lane of 12th Avenue just west of Kimball Blvd. This lane restriction is very likely to be in effect through August 23rd, again, barring inclement weather or any unforeseen events.

The Jasper Street Department along with Indiana Railroad Museum will be closing South Clay Street between 2nd Street and 1st Street at the railroad track crossing on August 15, 2017 beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. thru 4:00 p.m. weather permitting. This closing is to allow for repairs at the Railroad crossing. Motorists wishing to reach businesses south of this location, may do so by accessing Clay Street via Wernsing Road.
