Unwrapping the Gift From the Sea program examines classic book

Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will offer a program, “Unwrapping the Gift From the Sea,” on Saturday, April 2, from 9:30 a.m. Eastern time to 11:30 a.m. at the Benedictine Hospitality Center at Kordes Hall on the grounds of Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.

The program will examine the wisdom that Anne Morrow Lindbergh gave us in her classic book of 60 years ago, Gift From the Sea, and how it is still relevant and applicable to our spiritual journey today.

The presenter will be Sister Mary Ann Verkamp, OSB. She served as a missionary in Guatemala for 26 years and is presently the Ferdinand Benedictines’ librarian and teaches a monastic history class.
