Two more Covid-19 cases in Dubois County

Tuesday, the Dubois County Health Department confirmed two more positive cases of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) have been identified. 

This brings the total to 204 positive cases of Covid-19 in Dubois County residents. Three residents have died from Covid-19; 71 residents have recovered from the disease.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) also reported that 430 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 35,237 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

Intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remain steady. As of today, nearly 44 percent of ICU beds and more than 83 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 2,022 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 46 over the previous day. Another 175 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

Estamos trabajando en estrecha colaboración con el Departamento de Salud del Estado de Indiana y funcionarios locales para asegurar que se identifiquen y supervisen los contactos estrechos de los pacientes.  Todas las personas que pueden tener un riesgo de exposición a estos casos positivos están siendo notificadas sobre posibles exposiciones para que se puedan seguir procedimientos adecuados de control de infecciones.  Los casos positivos están aislados.
