Jasper — Two drivers went to jail last night after their vehicles collided on Newton Street at about 10:55 p.m.

According to police, Christine M. Lubbehusen, 51, of Newton Street, Jasper, was northbound on Newton near the 37th Street intersection in a 2008 Dodge Avenger when her car crossed the center line. The Dodge ran into a southbound 2007 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Iris R. Lopez, 27, of N. Portersville Road, Jasper.
