The Tri-County YMCA has created an endowment with the Dubois County Community Foundation to support its programs and operations.

“We’re setting the stage for our future growth,” said Mike Steffe Executive Director of the organization. “This endowment was part of our strategic plan and gives our donors an opportunity to contribute to the sustainability of our organization.”

The purpose of the endowment is to support the Tri-County YMCA by providing a permanent source of funding. Each year, forever, the endowment will generate a grant to benefit the YMCA.

“The Endowment will provide a way for donors to give back to their YMCA,” said DeNae Mulzer, Board Chair.  “They can help support our growth and partner with something bigger than themselves to make a difference in our communities,” she said.

Serving Dubois, Perry and Spencer Counties, the Tri-County YMCA focuses on three areas, Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility. The YMCA mission is to put Christian principles into practice that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
