Tri-axle crash closes highway west of Huntingburg
No injuries were reported when a tri-axle truck crashed west of Huntingburg Monday morning.
According to police, the tri-axle was westbound on State Road 64 when it was forced to maneuver around a car making a sudden turn. The tri-axle struck a guardrail near County Road 500 West and rolled over, spilling a load of gravel on the roadway.
State Road 64 was closed for about an hour and 45 minutes while the crews cleaned up the gravel and the tri-axle was removed.
