Traveling Vietnam Wall memorial to be at French Lick

The French Lick Resort will host the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Traveling Vietnam Wall from Thursday, November 9 to Sunday, November 12 for Veteran’s Day weekend.

The traveling wall tours the country to pay tribute to men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country. Every name on the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall in Washington, D.C. is etched on the traveling wall, which spans the length of a football field and is an 80 percent scale of the original.

Rubbings may be taken with provided wall rubbing sheets. The wall will be lit at night and open 24 hours for display.

A special ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 9 that will include a wreath laying, 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps.
