Traffic stop leads to three arrests for falsified information

Huntingburg — Huntingburg police arrested three men for false informing, obstruction of justice, and operating without ever obtaining a driver’s license after stopping a vehicle Saturday at 10:55 p.m.

According to police, a Huntingburg officer stopped a blue Ford Mustang travelling south on Main Street for speeding. During the stop, the officer determined the driver, Cesar Ramirez, 42, of Frankfort, Ind., had never been licensed and the two passengers — Pedro Lopez-Bautista, 24, and Jose Chavez-Bautisto, 18, both of Frankfort, Ind. — presented the officer with falsified identification cards.

Ramirez was charged with operating without ever obtaining a license, obstruction of justice and false informing.

Lopez-Bautista and Chavez-Bautisto were each charged with false informing and possession of a falsified government identification

All three were booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
