Traditional Arts Today: Drippy Flower Painting on Jeans class

Drippy Flower Painting on Jeans is presented by Artist/Instructor Kathy Fazio.

“As a child, I was very creative and loved making crafts and just putting things together. In my 30’s I took a toll painting class in Rockport every week and grew to love that art, especially because of the kindness of the instructor. I eventually taught toll painting classes myself and over the years have taught many other art classes as well,” Fazio said. “I began painting in the past 3-4 years and am self-taught. I love being creative and sharing my passion with others through teaching a variety of art classes.

Find your flow by creating drips and embracing the art of drippy painting on fabric. Drippy painting is simple, exciting and surprising. Kathy will share tried and true tips and techniques from start to finish. Sample material and painting practice time will be available prior to painting on jeans.

Finished product: Students will complete a floral drippy paint design on their jeans. All paint and painting supplies are provided and are included in the class fee. Bring your own item of clothing to paint-denim pants or jean jacket.
