Tracy Lee Snow, 63, Velpen

Tracy Lee Snow, 63, Velpen, died on September 4, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Tracy was born on December 9, 1960, in Brownwood, Texas, to Linda Lucille (Townsend) and Bobbi Lee Snow.

He married Karen Voegerl on June 1, 2008, in East Side Park, Washington, Ind.

Tracy held an engineering degree and served in the U.S. Army.

He was an over-the-road truck driver before moving to Indiana. In Indiana, he began working at Decora as a forklift driver in 1998.

Tracy was a wonderful artist who enjoyed drawing a variety of subjects; birds, landscapes, trucks and cars. He also enjoyed collecting pocket watches, elephants and miniature motorcycles — he was Harley man, owning many throughout his life.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and all of his family.

Tracy is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Ashley Matthewson (Bobby) and Amanda Bickford (Daniel); grandchildren, Landon, Keagan, Kylynn, Ken’Dae, Gabriella and Owen; a brother, David Snow (Alice); one uncle, Richard Snow; aunt, Yvonne Smith; niece, Elizabeth Garza (James); and two great nieces, Savannah and Ember; great-nephew, JJ; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Redemption Christian Church, Jasper, at 2 p.m. on November 16, 2024.
