Town of Ferdinand’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to be held Friday, December 2

The Town of Ferdinand will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 2, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the 900 block of Main Street (Universal Design property). Main Street will be shut down from 9th Street to 10th Street from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the festivities.

The Forest Park Dance Team will perform on Main Street and members of the Forest Park Choir will help lead Christmas caroling. There will be free hot chocolate and candy canes for the little ones. Rumor has it that Santa Claus might make a surprise visit, as well.

As has been done in the past, canned food items will be collected for the needy.
